The Challenge

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Czech Republic needed a real-time national statistics portal within days — with no tolerance for downtime and traffic spikes of millions of users.

Our Approach

Emergency delivery: working production system in 72 hours. Azure CDN and autoscaling handled traffic spikes. Data pipeline connected directly to Ministry lab reporting systems.

Outcome

Portal operated continuously for 2 years without downtime. Served as the official national COVID data source for media, healthcare providers, and the public.
